My son has been detected 3.5 years with an average hearing loss or moderate. The doctor said it was a mixed waste. He has fluid in the middle. We started the treatment of ENT infections of the middle ear. My complaint is that after the dissolution of the middle ear infection, it is an improvement in the degree of loss. Will my son still need help ear for language development? A mixed hearing loss is a combination of hearing loss and sensorineural deafness. The component of the conductive hearing loss often being finished mixed, as you describe your child. If the driver component of fluid in the middle, part of the hearing loss occurs, is likely to increase.

The sensory component is permanent. And depending on the performance of the component that may not require amplification of hearing aids.

I suggest you ask your hearing care professional to discuss the impact of hearing loss of his son on his ability to hear and understand speech. He or she will be able to give you a better idea of whether perhaps you will need headphones. It really depends on your audiogram and your child is hearing-aid and ENT is your best source for determining the answer to this question.
